Gait Analysis

Gary Gordon is a consultant orthotist working in both the private and the National Health Service with over 25 years’ experience in orthotic practice. In his previous post as Director of Orthotics at a large specialist orthopaedic hospital, he worked closely for over 12 years with the world renowned Orthotic and Locomotor Assessment Unit (ORLAU) – one of the countries most sophisticated gait laboratories – interpreting complex data to aid in the surgical and orthotic management of patients with neuromuscular disorders.

Gary is able to provide a full range of orthotic treatment; sports orthotics (particular expertise in assessing and fitting knee braces for skiing and ski boot orthotics), gait analysis, foot and ankle orthotics, neuromuscular gait disorders, deformational plagiocephaly, joint contracture management and paediatric orthotics with his specialist field being the orthotic management of patients with musculoskeletal pathologies, trauma and disabilities. Gary is also able to provide both expert witness opinion and full Medico/Legal report (including video gait analysis and plantar pressure measurement) for all of these clinical areas.
